heavenphetamine

Heavenphetamine is a musical duo composed of Hiroki (keyboard/vocals) and

Sara (drums/vocals). Their distinctive style involves synchronising Sara's

acoustic drums with Hiroki's synthesised sequences created through

synthesisers and loop pedals, resulting in an electrifying fusion of

electro-infused composition with a physical and punk-inspired edge, all

achieved without the use of a metronome. Described as a blend of Krautrock

and Post-Punk, their musicality strongly reflects the influence of Western indie

music. Simultaneously, the underlying Japanese melodies, beats, and Japanese

lyrics contribute to crafting an exceptionally exotic sonic landscape.

Since 2021, based in Ukraine and Georgia, Heavenphetamine embarked on a

five-month charity tour in the summer of 2022, supporting Ukraine, including

performances in war-torn Kyiv. In the same year, they fearlessly entered the

studio of Kyiv musician Yevhenii for recording. In 2023, they undertook two

European tours with Yevhenii and flautist Kira, participating in Estonia's

showcase, Tallinn Music Week, France's Trans Musical Festival, and Ukraine's

largest underground scene festival, Brave Factory. Despite being completely

self-produced, their singles, "KYOEN" and "IROHANIHOHETO," released on

streaming services, gained significant traction. They are set to release a full

album in 2024, and their future endeavours are eagerly anticipated.
